Bugs, Misfeatures, Wishlist

The Zik 2.0 still shows quite some bugs and / or misfeatures.

Bugs

  • Sometimes audio is fully muted as long as noise cancellation is not enabled
  • Charging LED blinks red when USB is connected and device is powered up and not charging

Misfeatures

  • Zik Manager for Android transfer the phone’s whole addressbook to the Zik!
    Without asking, without expressed permission. I am not happy about this.
  • SBC decoder generates quite some compression artefacts on low volume signals
  • DSP and noise cancellation add quite some static

Wishlist, Nice To Have

  • aptX codec would be nice
  • USB audio would be really nice to have – the newer Zik 3 has it, @Parrot, pls backport it to Zik 2.0
